It was very sad to see Benji running sideways most of last season. His forte is in keeping the defence in two minds. When he plays halfback the opposition defence knows the few options he has to run the ball this and consewaunetly has him covered. The complete WEsts Tigers backline attack suffered greatly because of this this. If Potter encourages Benji to attack at every chance he will be devastating in 2013.

This reminds me of the years Knights fans complained all the time about how Mullen was getting moved around all the time to halfback when he was really a five-eighth. Moved to 6 permanently this year & had a good consistent season.

Hopefully your new coach realizes the same, depends i guess on what options you have at halfback & what options you have a five-eighth.

Lol coach Sheens was probably the only person who thought that Benji was a HB.I am sure 2013 will see him back where he should be and out attack should be far more potent

in 2011 i think lokyer and benji were captains, so both had to be chosen.
in 2012, cronk was 7 and benji 6

nah im just saying coz of his record and that ALL players seem to play at their best when they play under him.
also, for my english exam i chose his "australian stories" ep in 2001 as my text and got 20/20.. learned a lot from him tbh.
i have all round respect for that guy.
havent paid too much attention to the knights this year, apart from that he told the fans not to except much from the knights, but i trust him.. he has a 4 year contract and im sure, at the end of the 4 years, the fans will be happy with where he has taken them.
also that the "No DH" policy is a joke. all DHs, if properly used and nurtured can give you a value… e.g. mason, cuthbertson etc.
