Hey Guys,
An Interesting snippett in RLW (From the Mole)
States Ben Galea couldn't agree to terms with Hull KR and could
possibly be returning To WT's in a Coaching Role for the Juniors!!
Now…. I don't know about you guys, But I love what the direction we building our staff in.

Thus Far we have:
Todd Payten: U20's Coach
Steve Georgallis: Asst Coach
John Skandalis: S&C Coach first Grade
Balin Cupples: S&C Coach 20's

All of the above have pulled on our Colours in the NRL...
The thought of Benny coming back has me Salivating!!
Building a unified force at staff level can only bring out the best on the paddock!!
All of these boys are considered part of the Wests Tigers family, Have played thier hearts out in the colours and I, for one am glad we are Building our club full of past and present family.

Need to be careful with having 'one of the boys' as a coach. All the players spoke of how Folkes changed the whole atmosphere around the club when he came in. Much stricter in the gym, no music etc. All focussed on hard work.

I certainly like it if these guys are the best men for the job. My concern however, is the possibility of a boys club developing where sacking an underperforming staff member becomes very difficult due to long term friendships. But im sure that wouldnt happen at the Tigers.

I reckon Benny would be a great addiion. He was such a professional footballer and worked so hard to get the most out of his ability. These type of players usually make the best coaches

Its called ''creating a culture''

I thought of the Broncos when I read this, for some reason.

As long as all involved are capable in their roles, Ive no probs

Yeah as Ink says as long as they are fully capable at their roles no issues

But you would hate to think we wouldn't sign someone better as he wasn't a former Tiger or Magpie

One of my all time favourite players and one of the most under rated players of the last 20 years. If BG had of played for a glamour club no doubt he would have played origin.

You left out Andrew Webster who is a Balmain junior and played reserve grade in his day. He coached the Balmain SG Ball to victory this year and is a terrific coach, he was with Hull KR and I would say had some influence in getting Ben Galea back to the mighty Tigers.

You also left out Andrew Leeds as he is the rehab manager and a magpie legend
