Best captain

the reason why i said prince is because we won a comp with him. if we do it again this year i'll say prince and farah tie

How could you say Prince hasn't been our best captain when he was the captain when we won our only premiership. Wasn't it around the same time when Prince took over the captaincy halfway through the year when we started our winning streak?

Mark O'Neill was the glue in 2005!

Prince was sh*t in 2006 after pledging to the Titans and having his captaincy stripped! For that alone he can never be considered a great leader/captain for the Tigers in my view! He was captain for about 10 games FFS!!!

Senter was a tough and committed bastard through all the hard times! Due to that and his longevity he also gets my vote for now!

Farah will overtake him though (just as he did as our best ever hooker)…

Not sure. I say give Robbie some more time and he may be it.

I really think that he has lost a lot of form over the past couple of years but he really seems to be gettting back up to the level that he is capable of. If he keeps playing like he is I think he may end up a great Tiger player.

My thoughts 100%!!!

Hodgson, then daylight.

Always had a soft spot for Senter though, had a lot of mongrel about him.

Don't care for the argument that Prince took us to a premiership. We were Prince's last chance saloon and he reaped the benefits and took off soon as someone waved the cash at him. That's not the makings of a good captain.

Darren Senter without a doubt. He wasnt the most skillfull player or the best, but he wore the tigers jumper with pride and played his heart out every week

Senter was a tough uncompromising bugger who led from the front in saying that his discipline at time let the team down. Farah has done a good job this year, you dont win so many close games without good leadership. I just think at times he is a bit quite when a verbal rev up is required. Anyway maybe he is one of these captains where a stare is worth a million words

Senter was great and played b etter as a captain then not which is hard to do, farah is still developing as a Captain, Prince was in a great team already not sure he was a great captain here, Buckets I love and was a great captain but when it comes down to it Jarrod McCracken was our best Captain- when he was leading us we were equal 2nd after 19 rounds and then without him we missed the finals - he was a brilliant captain

I would have voted Senter barring the amount of penalties he gave away for just being Hollywood. Reffs rarely took him seriously except when penalising him.

Mark O'Neil followed by a Hodgo & Farah tie
