hahahah Ive been telling you all for months the NRL is rigged the games are rigged!! I told you!!! now its all coming out, why am I not surprised? look at the way alot of games this year have turned and form has turned.

I'm never sure whether you are a clown or writing this stuff as a gee-up…

I knew the whole time it would swing. Now is a good time to stop taking shots at Golden. He will be proven right very soon.

You think there is a systemic effort by the NRL to control the result of games based on a grand plan?

Big difference between the NRL rigging games and match fixing.

_"Big difference between the NRL rigging games and match fixing."_

Correct - and match-fixing has not even been alleged - but point-scimming and and setting plays for a scenario bet have been suggested and as yet unproven.

No-one believes an individual could enter into a betting sting to lose a game when all of the differentials involving his 16 team mates are so unpredictable!

You just need to look at the alleged Dogs-Cows scam & see how one alleged player cannot even assure a marginal exotic bet - no matter how hard he allegdly tried! If the alleged sting had come off - the game result would not have even been altered!!!

As for refs - having listened to Harrigan on 2sm tonight - I don't believe they are corrupt (or part of a massive NRL conspiracy - to address the morons)- however they are arrogant - incompetent - poorly trained - poorly advised - ignorant - attention-seeking and affected by personal bias!
\
\
Results are questionable - but not pre-determined!!!!

Go back to watching WWE & the McMahon family if you believe that is reality!!

From the mail I have heard , all will be announced after the GF….and it won't be a good look for the game.
3 Big names from the Cowboys, a Bulldog, a agent , a room mate and someone who has done it all before......hope my source is very wrong, as it will put a downer on when the Wests Tigers win the GF in 11 days

I've got the same Mail plus a few others Alad…

As a betting man, I'd be very Piiissed that games I have put money on have been cohorted. Life Bans for everyone who's proven to be involved!!!

I get the feeling this scandal will have a very ugly ending unfortunately.

Who Tandy?

Lol that's hardly a scoop.

Nope, not Tandy. Old school Tiger, pre premiership Tiger.

I am happy to throw names out on the forum, but I am not sure if I am allowed? After all it is all speculation.

I guess the names are going to be all over the internet in the next couple of days, it is spreading pretty quickly.

Pre-premiership? You mean a Balmain Tiger rather than a Wests Tiger? Well John Elias mentions something in his autobiography. That aside I wouldn't be putting any rumour along these lines in the forum. You could get sued and the forum will be in the crapper…

A Wests Tiger is one that I heard is going to be nailed, a further Balmain Tiger is under investitgation however they don't have enough evidence on him yet.

How do you nail an ex-player who was not a participant in the game???? There is no law against them laying bets unless it can be proven that they conspired to fix the result of the wager.

The current players who may have conspired are under more pressure than blokes laying bets whether they be based on rumour or insider knowledge.

It should also be noted that the unnamed ex-player implicated in today's Tele as making a large wager stated that he did not know Ryan Tandy.

Yes and with that comes a good point…At this stage investigations are on going and all rumour and inuendo is just that - ALLEGED...

Posts will be deleted if names are mentioned not already in the media...

If you want to tell people what you have heard ...Please do it in a PM....

For now the thread will be locked until more information comes to hand..

**Cops quiz NRL stars over betting**

>
BULLDOGS captain Andrew Ryan and retired star Brett Kimmorley were among a dozen Canterbury players interviewed by detectives yesterday as investigations into the NRL's betting scandal intensified.
>
The 12 players were each questioned for more than an hour as part of a police probe into irregular betting activity on a round 24 match between Canterbury and the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.
>
Along with Kimmorley and Ryan, The Daily Telegraph can reveal Josh Morris, Ben Roberts and Bryson Goodwin were also among those interviewed. There is no suggestion any of those players took part in the alleged scam.
>
**Members of Strike Force Suburb questioned he players separately in two boardrooms inside Canterbury Leagues Club.\
\
Match officials from the game will be interviewed next week, as will player agents whose clients competed in the match and coaches Kevin Moore and Neil Henry.\
\
It is understood detectives will travel to Townsville later this week to interview North Queensland players.**
"I've got nothing to hide and nothing to worry about," Kimmorley said.
>
Goodwin added: "No one has done anything wrong."
>
**Speculation was rife yesterday that a well-known former player, a leading current player and a player manager were involved.** All players who attended yesterday's police interviews were offered legal or club representation - but were told not to arrive with their managers, who will be interviewed separately.
>
The remaining Bulldogs who played in the match will be called in by police today.
>
Each player yesterday gave a written statement revealing details of the match.
>
Police are looking into a huge plunge on a North Queensland penalty goal as the first point-scoring option in the match.
>
"I was happy to go and co-operate. I think as a club, and as a game, an end to this would be lovely," Kimmorley said.
>
Canterbury CEO Todd Greenberg said his club was determined to assist the police investigations.
>
"The Bulldogs have continued to comply with all directives from the NRL and NSW Police," Greenberg said.
>
"And we will continue to assist in their investigation in any way possible."
>
The investigation may be stalled next week in Townsville because several players are away on holidays and others have left the club.
>
Asked if his club has anything to hide, Cowboys CEO Peter Parr said: "Not that I'm aware of. I asked the players at the start of this if they had any involvement, directly or otherwise, to come and speak to me and none have."
>
NRL chief operating officer Graham Annesley said: **"The matter was placed in the hands of police some weeks ago. It is our understanding that investigations are ongoing.**"
