Big Flags

Hey guys,

I'm making a big flag which will be ready for the Rd 6 game against the Dogs.

I've bought an extendable pole that collapses down to 1.2m. I know there's a restrictions on pole sizes you can take into grounds, just wondering if this pole will be acceptable.

Thanks.

Did you bring it?

I have 2 poles that I use for my banner that are atleast that big. We normally just wrap the flag or banner around the poles when we bring them in and it's fine.

The SCG trust say nothing bigger than 1m x 1m flag or banner will be let in but we see flags bigger than that all the time and I brought my banner in and I think it's a bit bigger than that. Only just haha

Hey Alien,

Yeah I brought it and used it, albeit only 3 times haha :frowning: I was sitting in Bay 12, behind the Dogs bench. The pole I have is extendable so its easy to transport and bring in. No dramas going through security.

The flag itself is 1.2m x 1.8m and yeah I just folded it and had it in my bag.

Hope the flag was noticeable!

shouldve sat in bay 10 mate we were down the fornt
are ypu going to the campbelltown game in 2 weeks..?
we'll be sitting on the hill nearest to the leagues club
hope to see you thier mate

We've got season tickets. At the SFS we're in bay 12 and have an excellent view.

At Campbelltown & Leichhardt we're in the grandstand however I tend to sit on the hill at Leichhardt as I'm from the area and a lot of my mates go to Leichhardt games so I sit with them there.

I'll definitely take it to as many away games as possible too. Unfortunately I can't make it to Penrith this week as it's my sister's wedding. Also, probably wont travel with it to Newcastle as I'll be on the train or at the SCG as we're in the Brewongle stand … So I'll have it with me in Rd 12 at Leichhardt & Rd 13 at ANZ
