Big news on its way

"@ajcarr7: Massive arvo coming up on the @Wests_Tigers website. Stay tuned… plenty of big news on its way.

We have brought Chris Close out of retirement? As a fitness coach maybe?

Over the "big news" coming out of the Tigers these days, they are usually just BS or totally insignificant.

I think it could be Luke Brookes being named

That I could live with. If they are announcing an extended deal for Benj after the two woeful performances he's just trotted out, then pack up the tent coz our management are dumber than we think.

The cynic in me says Skando will announce another comeback or we are bringing Ben Galea back

If so it's hardly earth-shattering news TBH. Yep we are all looking forward to seeing the kid play but I would prefer a whole-hearted blood and guts display by the whole team for a change (Do they even have it in them anymore?).

Maybe the big news is that Lote is back early? :bash

Maybe another one of our underperforming, overpaid superstars is going to tell us all that they need to lift their game and perform. Oh wait, that happens every week…

I couldn't, at least if its the only news. Making an announcement like this then revealing it to be a rookie making his debut? They can take that news and shove it for getting my hopes up for something big if thats what they're referring to

This was released this afternoon on AAP:

Wests Tigers NRL back-rower ADAM BLAIR admits his critics have a point and he must lift his performances for the battling joint venture.

BLAIR has copped plenty of criticism this season for the Tigers, who slumped to a sixth consecutive defeat against Cronulla last weekend. The New Zealand international admits his attack is a little bit off at the moment and he'll be looking to improve that against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.
