With Sironen set to be the 6 on Sunday would that make him and Anasta the biggest halves ever?

@pHyR3 said:Um, why would marshall go to 7? The coach would definitely listen if he SAID adamantly he wants to stay in the position where he won a premiership, world cup and four nations. Last season showed he is NOT an organiser but someone like Anasta definitely is hence why anasta is 7 over marshall.

We will see what happens when Benji is back. Sheens said that Moltzen will be our 7 and we will have fastest halves combo, did it happen? No.
@Milky said:Biggest halves combo ever was Inglis and Cronk weighing over 200kg. Did my research :wink:

what does that have to do with anything? Benji isn't a 7, therefore shouldnt play 7 especially given the talent we have in the halves. Still got options in Moltzen and miller and brooks(although I doubt and don't want him to play fg this year). 6 and 7 are very similar, just one is more organisational and the other a bit freer in terms of running. Since Benjis strength is not organising and IS runnning he should play 6 bar some major catastrophe

maybe i need to simplify it for you
6 = running
7 = organising
benji = running
benji = 6 more than 7

Let me simplify this for you
Benji 2010- Running
Benji 2011- Running
Benji 2012- Neither
Benji 2013- Neither
So why waste the number 6 on a non running 6, I don't even rate Benji's kicking game.

Okay, which amazing running five-8 are you proposing to play 5/8? The only one I can think of is moltzen, and his kicking and ability to create plays leaves a lot to be desired. and then that creates a dilemma with anasta and sirronen because we have 4 halves then
And Benji 2012 - Played 7…
His running game has been...passable in '13\. Had that great play vs panthers, too bad koro stepped on his inside as benji passed it to him. Sick vs eels and injured vs melb. He can still comeback and put up a good running performance this year i reckon and his short kicking game has always been great, it's his long kicking that has been sub par but luckily braith seems to be able to step up for that now.
