Blair and Woods.

Can we start a sack Blair campaign? I challenge you to find a supporter who wants him to remain on his money.

Add Sheens to it, Mac, and I'll sign it without hesitation. Enough is enough!

could be a great player but simply isn't making much of an effort.
shameful rly, he's embarrassing himself and the club.

I wish we could pay him out of his contract and get rid of him. Or atleast drop him to state cup like Parra did with Sandow.

12 months ago & nearly everyone was hailing him the next Messiah.

I'd like to see him run harder, particularly when playing wider. That said, I can't think of too many players this year I'd like to have seen put in a bit more at times.

Blair just stands out more due to the hype with him coming in.

i see the frustration but blame sheens…he sacked 2 front rowers for a backrower....
now we are stuck playing blair in the front row and have to use bell/moors and cashmere every wk
sheens needs to put his hand up and say he [This word has been automatically removed]ed up.... we have no replacement for woods or galloway...

Actually just so u have ur facts right, woods and groat both got generous upgrades as well as purchasing Blair. It was the two upgrades that forced the club to release the aging Gibbs and knucklehead fifita

Which we needed especially with Ellis going. Blair has been so bad though that I think we need to go all out and get another backrower. We need someone who can run it hard on the edges. Blair isn't that player.

I'd play him at prop for the rest of the year but try to get rid of him a.s.a.p. He should probably be on the bench and get 30 minutes a game. What a waste.

Can't disagree with either of you here.

To be totally honest, I was never really keen on us signing Blair in the first place. I didn't say anything publicly because everyone else was so excited, but I never really saw all that much in him when he was with Melbourne either.

We paid elite money for a sub-elite player. We couldn't get Inglis, Slater, Smith or Cronk so we settled for Blair, but paid what we would have paid for the elite Melbourne players. I was never confident, but I naively put faith in the club that "they knew what they were doing".

Blair is seriously challenging Sandow as the worst buy of the year, and he spent most of the year in NSW Cup!

I wonder how much James Graham is on over at the Dogs. We should have offered the money to him instead, he has been great over there.

If only…

Yes! Watching him on Saturday night I was intrigued. If we can get him…. A fan can dream...

Look no one is happy that he's getting paid so much to do zero to nothing compared to a player earning less putting heart and soul into his game.
But he's here until 2015 and Sheens knows that he's not performing (hopefully?) and the best we can do is continue to develop him into our style of play. He's plays off the bench then he's a weak impact player.
May take a year for him to integrate into our team but if he's roaring and ready for 2013 then I say bring it on!

He gives 100%. I'd swap him with Blair in an instant. Blair's a glorified Fifita, with all the attitude or lack thereof.

A bit harsh on Blair. I thought he played ok and was not any worse than most of the other players. He would be the lightest prop running around. He is not a prop forward, period. Once again we have paid the price for Sheens' pathetic team selections.

Woods, Fulton and Ryan are about the only players who earned their money yesterday. Ellis and Cashmere tackled each other when that young replacement went over near the posts. Did Simona make a tackle all day?
The less said about Marshall the better. I don't think that he wants to be with us anymore.

When Farah returned to the hooking role we played a lot better. This game was lost (like last Tuesday night) long before it started.

If the team was so bad, and most of them where, let's see who gets dropped next week. My money will be on nil.
Great coaching Tim.

yeah im noticing things a bit more with Blair, now he's under the spotlight! I have been defending him most of the season with fellow tigers fans & rival fans… But the final straw was seeing him back pedal when John Sutton ran straight through our line from inside his own 20m line!
Blair has been targeting kickers/ halfbacks (which may/may not be one he's been assigned by the coaches to do)
but that was it for me!!!
Woods' workrate is solid (he was expending alot of energy on the wrestle i thought...but has cut this out) & I can't wait for Galloway to return. If i had one wish for our starting props though it is i wish they'd get more mongrel into them ...
