Blair leading missed tackles!

I am wondering if it is the move to lock is the reason he has missed so many? Or is he going high all the time?
Based on defense being a main part of the training under Potter I sure hope he gets things sorted quick like over the next two weeks!

We do have to wonder, is Blair to be a tackling machine, no I would prefer him to be a wide running backrower who scores the occaisional try but every now and then blindsides some poor bugger who would rue the fact that Blair is out there to spoil your day!.

Blair is always doing a job it seems. If he was shirking the hard yards he would be gone already, even with Sheens.

He isn't supposed to rack up Fulton numbers, still it would be nice to see at least something from him. Each game so far this year has been an improvement. Lets hope he arc's up for Manly, no love there.

I agree but many others don't

interesting watching the game live as opposed to TV. IMO Blairs value is protecting and driving up the middle. Sure he might miss a few tackles upfront tackles but his is a rushing D type of player who can stop momentum. From what I have of him seen being in the middle so far this year it allows him to get us valuable metres with his speed of the mark and quick play the balls and if you study what happened against parra he also put enormous pressure on their kickers

If its tackling we need, I'd look at Bell into second row with Fulton or lock. Anasta to the bench. Bell's not such a line bender, but he goes alright in the tackling department, a good defender. I don't think you loose anything swapping Anasta based on the last coupl of performances? Then anasta comes on with fresh legs and a bit of play making etc… Just my opinion.

I like the sound of that actually.

He's a fish out of water because we don't play cuddle-ball in defence like the Storm do. It was a stupid idea buying him the emperor has no clothes.
