What do you guys think if Ayshford was played from the bench as a utility next year?
I mean, he could cover wing, centre, five eighth, lock and possible second row.

I'd rather Ayshford play as a utility than create him into a specialist second rower or lock.

Thoughts?

He has developed well as a centre. I don't feel he would benefit as much by being place on the bench in the dreaded utility role.

X 2 We will see the benefits of another off season in Blake and you will see the true benefits of having a strong right and left side in attack if we go a few weeks without an injury

No, I want Blake on the field for 80 minutes thanks. I can see your point though, he could cover a lot of positions.

too good to start on bench.
too small up the middle.
too slow for wing.
bad positioning for a left centre.
PERFECT SPOT: RIGHT CENTRE

wooo hoooo!!!

To be honest I hate that idea, he is far to talented and important in our team to be a bench utility. I don't see why so many people seem to eager to see him change positions, to me hes just a very good centre.

I actually don't want to change him. I like him there. Just an option if the Tigers are going to blood some youth like Sheens says he will.
1\. Tedesco
2\. Koroibete
3\. Reddy
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
14\. Ayshford
Even though Blake is quality, that backline would be pretty damn dangerous

He will be the next best backrower in the game within 2 years starting next year. He is a backrower through and through.

I agree! Although I am not sure he is as slow as some suggest, maybe some work with a sprint coach would help him.

I'm sure I remember sheens saying when he signed his first 'big' contract a few years ago that he would prob move or develop into the lock position in years to come. Just sayin

He has come so far at center it would be a waste to move him out all of a sudden. He creates danger on that right side and no team wants to face one which can hurt you on either side of the park.

Utility - NO

Blake is doing an awesome job as our Right Centre. I think we will see him improve over the next few weeks now our full compliment of Forwards are back. The amount of energy he has been dispelling just by concentrating on defence down that right side with the ongoing shuffling of the structure over the past 2 months wouldve been enormous… I reckon we will see Blake go back to his elusive attacking best now!
