Sounds like another excuse to break contract. Wouldnt at all be surprised to see a sydney team snag him…. But it wont be us. More likely the roosters or dogs or other teams that somehow manage to fit half the leagues top players in budget.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. They aren't too keen on signing Mini again for next season and have been looking to offload SKD as well so I can see that move happening.

Ferguson left Cronulla for a club who he thought he could win a premiership with.

For at least two years, we will almost definitely not be a club who will look like winning a premiership.

Very little reason to come here.
 
Of course Roosters arent cheating, they only have…Minichello, SKD, Jennings, RTS, Maloney, Pearce, JWH, Friend, LOD, SBW, FPN and Mortimer..

A lot of teams seem to have way better players than us,souths roster is dodgy,then,brisbane,gold coast,cronulla,canterbury,melbourne all appear not to fit under the cap,Sheen's and Humphrey's and their recruitment/pay structure are killing us.

NRL is certainly one of the most imbalanced and corrupted leagues around. That's not news to anyone.
And in this case, the fact is that Schubert is a Rooster man - I mean he is the chief auditor FFS and he is not even impartial!

Having said the above, if I had enough money buy a premiership then it would be a no-brainer. Because the **only** way to beat them is to join them and then spend even more.
It's like the soccer World Cup vote - everyone knows it's fixed and the country with the most expensive and elaborate gifts wins the votes of the voting constituents. Example; those Qatari sheikhs and Russian oil magnates put Lowy in their back pockets. So…........ does anyone know an oligarch with a creative accountant that we can get to join Harry at the helm?

Plus we can't compete with top clubs because we are overpaying for Marshall, Lawrence, Ashyford, Blair, Lote…..
 
With Hodges injured BF is the best outside back going around. I'd have him in an instant, but I agree, he may turn out to be too much trouble. Remember Willie Mason? He was deemed to be too much of a risk. Look at him now.

Benji and Ayshford will be gone next year,Lote if he stays will be on less,and we need a strike player,he would be a great buy.

I'd love him. But he left cronulla to "win a comp" he won't come anywhere near us by the sound of things. I agree he will go to the roosters IF he leaves. Maybe dragons ? But they are in the same boat as premiership favourites as us
