Ive heard them words before.

 I'm sure you have….

Sheens thinks so to.......

I just have this feeling in my gut we are going to regret letting Gallant go, I just hope Blake lives up to the rep he has been given.
I know he has the talent and class, my one question is his build last time i saw him he looked like skelataur!

But Sheens is gonna play Moltzon at Fullback anyway, so where does Blake even fit in?

And he has a passion for the club.

Still goes to BRET games.

Still goes to every first grade game. He was out there helping the team warm up against the Bulldogs the other night, carrying tackling bags etc

That's something money can't buy.

Lazarus is alright but nothing special. A few on here are 'mates' with him and therefore think the sun shines out of his you know what

I'm not his mate ….I can only go on how I've seen him play....he is a talented youngster with skill and potential...he has a football brain....if he can come back injury free he will be pushing hard for a first grade spot....

I managed to see a few BRET games a few years ago when he was playing half and Tim Moltzen was playing 5/8 and he seemed to have it all over Moltzen. Moltzen is a star now, so, here's hoping Blake can turn into one too.

Too much pressure on this kid… Hasn't played enough footy in the last 2 years to make a judgement. I am interested where he will play too.

If he is a full-time footballer than he should turn up to support them. I think you'll find he doesn't study or work outside of footy like most of the State cup and NYC guys have to.

i spoke to him a few nights ago and he said he prefers to play in the 7 than the number 1 jersey..when i asked him about playing utility he said he would like to stay away from that name tag

What difference is that supposed to make?

That should not detract from the effort he makes.

Nobody in the squad wants the utility tag, especially when they really aren't a specialist utility with all-round skills. We have all seen how it ruins a players ability to be able to play consistent football. So it really has nothing to do with the amount of effort one puts in, but really locking down a position and knowing their role in the team.

considering he's yet to play a game in first grade or play with any of the guys in first grade, i think that yeah, carrying the kits around and stuff does help and does make him a better asset to the club.

Ahhh you completely lost me there.

I was referring to the effort Blake makes off the field whilst he has been off with an injury? Where did this utility discussion come from?

My apologies. I was referring to the post before your last one. BT mentioned it and your quotes didn't show on my screen last time i looked, so i thought you were replying to that. So it looked like this to me:

Can anyone else hear Led Zeppelin - "Communication Breakdown" - playing somewhere in the distance

Well after watching Lui's pathetic display in the TC on saturday,I hope Blake or Arana step up,because Lui was terrible, let in 2 soft tries never relly threatened in attack, then got hurt, they looked better and scored a couple of tries after Lui was replaced by Florimo.

Lui was on one leg out there. I'm not convinced he should even have been out there. Very ineffective and his movement was non existent.

He should not have even played!!!!

He was not fit before the game. Whoever picked him should give himself an uppercut.

He is one of the best players in the NYC, if not the best. Just ask any of the players he plays with or against.
