Bmm and potter

was at last nights game and apart from anastas shocker and chris lawrences usual misreads in defence i really thought that when bmm and the sauce were on with robbie, blair and fulton the tigers forwards were on top of the manly six.

so the question i have is why bmm only has limited game time as compared to buchanan ?
buchanan looks extremely pedestrian and gets smashed on every single carry. no leg speed or step, just a dead set plodder.

bmm should be starting, particularly if woods is out injured. any thoughts ? or is bmm not on the good side of the coach.

BMM appeared to have a crap attitude even back in State Cup.

Some quality and reliable halves and some real encouragement from both Fletcher and Potter has seen him start to grasp how damaging he can be if he puts in the hard work.

His fitness isn't there for big minutes yet.

That and he has had an issue with a hand injury for a few months now

That is my take on it

thanks smeg, did not know about the hand injury, but he and the sauce definately made an impact on the game when they were on together. it was very frustrating though watching buchanan getting knocked backwards whenever he was on the field. thought ava was handy as well

I think Buchanan is a strong forward and will be Aaron woods like, no real line breaker but a good stats man and people like that are needed in teams. Think he deserves and needs a break.

I doubt Buchannan will be anything like Woods, its clear he's spent this year though….big year for him, thrown into the deep end....I'd give him a break, not because hes not playing well just looks to be running on empty

I said that about Buchanan a few weeks ago and almost everyone disagreed with me. When woods comes back, I would like to see him rest not in state cup but on the sidelines. He's had a very tough year- he was spent in the first 10 games IMO.

I think Buchanan has tried hard and had to shoulder some responsibility beyond his years. It's been a hard year and hopefully it will benefit the young fella. As for BMM, one of these years he will have a breakout and I'm hoping it will be Potter that gets it out of him.

I'd like bmm in starting lineup. I actually don't think Buchanan contributes anything, but that's just my opinion.
