I’ve actually met a few Maronite Christians before, nice people with good attitudes.
Now, if we could only find some Muslims with decent values - we could hold them up as examples.
PS my part solution - stop the leak by not allowing anymore Muslim immigrants into Australia effective February 1.

Honestly, I'd be shocked if there was random retaliation. Cronulla was a retaliation against an ongoing problem. I think it's pretty well documented. It all went a bit far in the end.

I was working in London when the bombings happened and there were no mobs running around attacking random Muslims. I think people are smart enough to know that anything like Cronulla isn't going to stop radical extremists. I think you'll get mouthing off...you always do, but no way it will become an organised, Cronulla scale event.

You sound almost relieved you don’t have to credit a Muslim…Which btw, you don’t know if he is or not. Just go with the report that’s most convenient for you.

We are all Australians and live in a multi-cultural society. Laws are in place to protect us and they have for many years. Violence of this type is tragic and will be dealt with by our police and security agencies. Politicising the tragedy serves no purpose.

Especially when no one has any facts. When the facts come to light, they will be facts forever. You will have the next 10, 20, 30 years to wax lyrical. But some can’t wait that long and need to let their prejudices bleed out ASAP.

His religion was made important during the whole thing. I don't think it matters. His intervention was a service to his country and I'd say that regardless of what religion he was.

The real issue is that we have Muslims and Jews protesting each other on our land and that has led to a terrorist attack with 16 people dead. Let's focus on the correct issue and not waste energy on side arguments.

My great great grandfather was a protestant Irishman and my great great grandmother a catholic Irishwomen from what is now the Republic of Ireland. It would have been a lively marriage. They immigrated to Belfast, Victoria (now Port Fairy) for a better life and our family prospered in Australia. Does that make me an immigrant to this wonderful country? I guess it does and we need to remember 49.3% of Australians have one parent born overseas.

Yes, it was a FYI to dismantle the lie that the hero was a good Muslim.

The real issue is that we have imported these medieval barbarians into our country. We have a PM and Home Affairs Minister that actively court their vote. That is why for the last two years the From the River to The Sea mob have been allowed to spread their invective without zero push back. We even allowed them to take over the Harbour Bridge.

When a single man draped in an Israeli flag bravely stands in defiance, he is moved on by the police.

Yesterday was only a matter of time.

Albanese, Wong and Burke need to resign. They have blood on their hands.

Does that mean that Islamic extremism doesn't exist? Are we allowed to call it out? Can we maybe try to understand how a father takes his son to Bondi to mow down 16 people?

Being multi-cultural doesn't mean anything. Some cultures are bad...like the culture at HBG. Some are good, like Penrith or Melbourne yet they all play in the NRL. Muslims aren't going to get offended if you identify the issue correctly....they are radicalised Islamic extremists. We need to urgently understand how big this problem is in Australia.

I'm struggling to accept this has happened in our wonderful country. Let's leave the investigation to the security agencies and police before conclusions are reached.
 
I’m sure this will be deleted again.but anyone who didn’t see this coming over the last year or longer are either idiots or complicit. Islam is anathema to freedom and the traditional way of life in Australia. Always has been always will be. Europe is basically done , we are next. It’s all part of the Islamic master plan to over run all countries by stealth. They will win eventually. Every single person who wore a terrorist scarf including politicians and everyday white knight “Australian’s” who marched and carried on like lunatics are complicit a should hang their heads in shame. Netanyahu leaning in to blame Australia for this is infuriating, given his actions over there were probably one of the catalysts for inflamed tensions here.

Really hoping that the death count stops where it is. Sad day for this to happen in Bondi Beach. Father and son team too - Sickening.
