Bondi Mass Shooting

There will always be extremists, and a very few extremists who believe they can solve their issues by the use of violence. Govt can further restrict the availability of guns which will have a positive impact similar to that following the changes to gun laws after Port Arthur. But individuals need to own their own actions. Blaming the govt may feel good for about 5 mins but it may not prevent it happening again.
Mate...we never had extremists in Australia in the past. I'd prefer we look to keep it that way. We don't need to add new issues to the ones we have/had.

Machete ownership seems to have climbed in recent years too don't you think?

We really don't need to be playing Russian roulette with people's lives to fit a narrative.

Ah, the ICC… another concoction by the United Nations jokers.
So let me ask you again.
If a close nation like New Guinea sent 6000 people to atteck northern Australia and butchered and raped over 1200 Australians and took another 250 hostages you’d be ok doing nothing and letting the lame dog UN and ICC handle it?
You're asking me to speculate and that is a big no thanks.

Interesting thing I picked up from the video. The son on the bridge looked like he was motioning for people off to the side to move away. Seemed like he was aiming for specific targets.

The extremist and nationalist threat is very real and in Australia. How do I know? It is included in the ASIO Annual Threat Assessment 2025

We expect nationalist and racist violent extremists to continue their efforts to ‘mainstream’ and expand their movement. They will undertake provocative, offensive and increasingly high-profile acts to generate publicity and recruit. While these activities will test legal boundaries, the greatest threat of violence comes from individuals on the periphery of these organised groups.

There is a very good article in the Jerusalem Post on the extraordinary bravery of this man. Some Israelis and no doubt others of the Jewish faith refer to him as righteous, which is a huge honour.

Don't know why you feel the need to copy and paste that.

You wanted to adjust this whole issue to gun laws.

Let me tell you something. Terrorists don't give a shit about gun laws.

Garbage. How about vetting these people properly in the first place.

You wrote "we never had extremists in Australia in the past" - ASIO disagrees.
You pulled up an ASIO report from 2025. What is it supposed to prove exactly...it just makes my point for me if you read it. It says the threat of Islamic extremism is GROWING. That means MORE...more than we had before! Which was NOTHING.

Not sure about you, but I was born in the 80's and I never grew up thinking we had terrorist sleeper cells in our backyard let alone watching 16 people mowed down in cold blood, or some lunatic holding people hostage in Martin Place. Did you?

This Islamic terror threat in Australia is recent...last 20 years...seems to coincide with all the 3rd world migration we import.

Bull Shit.
Here's the issue about the UN. Israel is the adopted child of the UN. Australia was the first nation to recognise Israel on 14 Nov 1948 under the PM Ben Chifley - Labor Party.

As for the nonsense about PNG, there are rules to war and that is called internation law. 125 states are party to the Rome Statute - international law. As Mr Netanyahu has discovered, there are no free passes.

And criminals, in general...

That gun he was using looked like some Call of Duty black ops gear. Never have I seen anything like that in real life.

Insane a creep like him could access it.

What don’t u think if Albo had cracked down on the rallies and the hate speech we could have avoided this , u are right it can happen with any party in , but Albo and the Labour Party have down nothing but support the Muslim cause
When the Lindt Siege happened under Tony Abbots watch did you accuse the Liberal government of pandering to Muslims too? I’m willing to bet you didn’t.
