Not a good match up at all for Tim and his game plan was terrible.

There was no coming back from that first shot.
His defence just isn't good enough.
His last two bouts are not even his toughest challenges compared to others in his workable divisions at the moment.
He might need a full rethink. His load up style has been found out.
The Fundora fight had some context. But he walked chin first into this one and got a lesson.
Good. He seems the type to learn from it. Hopefully anyway.

I think it was just a coin toss as to who snuck the better early shots.
Tim got rattled and got put away professionally. It happens, but he gives way too many opportunities to be hit.
I don't think the Rose brothers are managing him very well.
He wants the big names on the big stage but perhaps they should've told him to keep building.
Flying people into Oz was working well.
The real losers are the fans.
That event was 3 fights and FREE for anyone with Amazon Prime.
But not in Australia...

No limit should've co promoted it a lot better and loaded the card up with their other favourite fighters. Nikita, Brock Jarvis, etc etc. 8 fights and really showcased some Australia talent against international opponents.
The promotion for the fight in Australia has been quite weak too. It's only heated up the last 3 or 4 days and most of the attention has been on Kosyta.

He had a good run and matched well against opponents in front of him.
I think Rose brothers rushed things and let him get ahead of himself.
Fundora fight was close and the cut kinda ruined things, today's fight he was outclassed from the start. Russians, they're something else.
Imagine a loss to Zerafa...
I don't think that'd happen but it'd be career ending.
Think the Crawford and Canelo dream is over though.

He looked underprepared and sitting on his heels more than usual from the opening bell. Big loss to recover from. He seemed to go downhill after the ‘head clash’. But he just seemed lerthagic from the start almost like he had to do a big weight cut or something

Problem is, he is.
He would've beaten Fundora if not for that cut and today, the first clip stuck and his opponent, as Tim has been in the past, was good enough to put him away.
He's good enough, but he and his team, ironically given their comments this week about the bout, haven't been smart with their game plans.
Fighters do get upset. I'd be more concerned if he was schooled for 12 rounds and flogged on points.
But he needs to take a step back and find a new gear if he wants the international belts.

He's done. That was a humiliating beatdown. He could explain away the first loss to himself, but he can't mentally recover from what happened to him this time.
His best option is a well promoted fight against Zeraffa and then move on.

His corner are a disgrace. The first loss should've been stopped after the head clash.

I think I read that Kostya said Tim has defence issues and needs to work on that, prior to this fight. Old man knows his stuff. Shame he isn’t more involved.
Think he was talking about Nikita when he said that...
Said Tim was going to finish this fight but wasn't sure how bad it'd be for the Russian.

don't think he ever gets a big shot again, I'd give zerafa a pretty good chance against him. Tim is a good fighter but think he trades a little if the surname, not as good as he thinks he is.
Nikita could be anything give him a good chance to win belts
Years ago, there was a American boxing expert when he Kostya boys spar in the gym always rate Nikita better around boxer to me Tim is too predicable in his style there is no variety or levels to his game. There is a video of Terrence Crawford sparring three different styles of fighters and it shows his stance and the subtle differences he approaches those fighters.

don't come by too often, this is a really tough defeat.
His coaches are too old/outdated. He needs to move
to the states if he wants to get his get-back. Having
Kostya there (1st time since debut) didn't help too
