So old Unca Wayne has come out in the press and stated that he has told Dahhrius "you have the captaincy until you retire". Wow, it has a smell about it like when a coach of the under-10's gives his son the best player award every game…....thanks Dad!
I'd hazard a guess and say not everyone at their club would be overly rapt about that guarantee to the teacher's pet, appartly Unca told lil Darius that he was going to make him the next Broncos captain as far back as 12 months ago, I wonder if that was why Corey Parker was basically given the hurry-up to retire?
What a great spokesperson for the club he will be, the sponsors must be overjoyed! I'm glad we don't have a potato like him as our club captain, not very approachable or likeable it seems from the outside.
