Boys Light Up

Not sure what to say without sounding negative.

But what I will say is that there was an attempt to tell a story that is raw and built on a plot in the same vernacular as Scott Ryan's 'Mr Inbetween', which I'm a big fan of.

For anyone that doesn't know Scott Ryan or his work check out [Mr Inbetween](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEFd9MNnMLc)

Good Aussie drama doesn't get any better.

Not sure what's going on, but your posts have been very sedate this off season. You ok?

Most have because it was released by FX (Fox) in the States before it was in Australia.

It's been extremely popular in North America and Europe, rates 8.5 on IMDB and has been picked up again for season 3.

I'm probably a little biased as my good mate [Justin Rosniak](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0743127/) plays the character of Gary, who's Ray's sidekick in the show.

It's a cracking Aussie series, as good as Wentworth in my opinion.

It's been on my watch list for a few years as I don't have Foxtel. Will check if it's on Binge.

The actor that played Ray's brother did a sensational job in his role also. Was very believable that he actually had MND, added a lot of emotion to the show as well. Especially with his interactions with his niece.
Brilliant series, my favourite of the last few years along with Breaking Bad and Weeds before that.
Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it?

Pfft. What's David think?

Dark and eclectic, bridging the overwhelming chasm between image & reality

One and a half stars.
