I kind of agree Gunners. I don't like Braith, he's a precious character and while I think having a sulk about Gatorade is a bit pathetic, I don't think it's a bad thing that he's highlighting that the place is ordinary in terms of facilities. Maybe more players coming out and going public with it might see something done about it.

I don't like Braith, he's a precious character and while I think having a sulk about Gatorade is a bit pathetic, I don't think it's a bad thing that he's highlighting that the place is ordinary in terms of facilities. Maybe more players coming out and going public with it might see something done about it.

Any other ex-Tiger coming out and saying this things would be forgiven, as long as it was constructive. Braith could come out and say it and then say "i'm going to donate 3 million of my hard earned to have it all fixed up" and I still couldn't stand him.

However our facilities we can change. We have Teddy and Woodsie running around Belmore and Sydney soon. Any player the Chooks or dogs want to poach, they will have those guys doing the tours.

If our facilities are CRAP and the other facilities are awesome, they will walk. I don't care if Braith is a crap player and he was crap for us when he came. But him being good or crap does not change the issue we care about now… Our facilities are CRAP!

Fundamentally you need space to run and heavy things to lift. The cutting-edge technology might take you to a few % higher and into the better performing clubs, **but I'd like us to at least make the finals on a regular basis first.**

you need the facilities and the best staff to get there. Right now, we just need some luck so that we can make the semis 2 years in a row starting in 2018\. After we've done that, we can put the money in to the facilities and the staff.

our biggest admin failure ever was 2012 when we couldn't capitalise in buying the right assets after the success '10 and '11 tbh.

We just need to hope that the signings work out.

The facilities issue isn't a new one - the club has been trying to shift facilities for years, with the redevelopment at Concord the latest incarnation (previously Liverpool etc).
Has been public knowledge for some time, so not sure why people are getting upset about it now.

I thought Wests Leagues Club, at least, was doing well and of course we have the richest bloke in Australia as our supposed No 1 supporter, but he obviously couldn't be stuffed putting any of his precious millions into helping out the club he supposedly loves so much :unamused:

There is an agreement between Balmain and Wests that they only put in as much as the other. And because Balmain are broke, it ties Wests hands. Things won't change till either Balmain become viable again, or more likely go under or have their shares bought out.

Harry has put in millions over the years - not good enough for you. I think it is a bit rich having a go at him when he has been helping out.

Harry's millions I assume was his major sponsorship for several years... While it's appreciated is nothing extra and all clubsbank on this in their budget... People think he could probably afford to tip in more... He's got enough

There is an agreement between Balmain and Wests that they only put in as much as the other. And because Balmain are broke, it ties Wests hands. Things won't change till either Balmain become viable again, or more likely go under or have their shares bought out.

With the governance restructure as of last May 2016..that no longer is the case…Wests Group can fund as much as required...Of course the more self-sufficient the Wests Tigers are the better..

ISP changing names? My view is we should be WestsTigers through all grades.Nearly everyone wanted that to happen when it did (myself NOT included). If there is to be a Western Suburbs team then there should be a Balmain as well.

Everyone else at WT has had to use the same facilities and be exposed to such 3rd World conditions such as not having enough Gatorade to wash their fake tan off with. Perhaps someone should have said to Bwaith after he made his statement…."well that all explains your piss weak personal performances for Wests Tigers then". It may well be the truth but it would be better coming from someone who actually had a dig while they were at our club, not some freeloading ponce who never got his jersey dirty out on the field.
