Civil case after police chose not to prosecute due to lack of evidence which given her claim states she saw someone with Hayne's build approach her makes sense.
 
Thought it was possibly a groupie seeking a payday but the fact she was a virgin makes things look bad for Hayne. Just cant keep out of the headlines, nor trouble.

They have a funny system in the US …

The cops say he has no case to answer, yet she can still lodge a civil suit and chase money in a situation which can't be proved criminally.

It is a weird quirk of the legal system over here. Same thing happened to OJ Simpson. He was found not guilty in the criminal court, but lost the civil case and had to pay 33 million in damages to Nichols family.

My understanding is there is a lower level of evidence to win a civil case, and the verdict in a criminal court has no impact….........go figure.

Not basing my comment on this incident, cos who knows if it's true or not, but I would go as far as saying this guy is the one of the biggest cancers in terms of individual players to ever play the game. Everything he touches turns to crap. The Titans in 2016 were the gutsiest side in the comp, fought above their weight every week. He gets there, all of a sudden they go backwards. His fault? Obviously, you can't say for sure, but given the guy's record of contaminating every environment he habitats, it's not reaching too much to say there was a link. The good thing about it is he's back at Parra. Let's hope the trend continues.
