BREAKING NEWS : TAYLOR SACKED...

You can't be a no nonsense coach at the tigers, there are too many controlling factions undermining you. Tigers don't need a coach, they need a negotiator/politician.

In hind-sight i wish Anthony Griffin got the WT coaching job.
At least he wouldn't hesitate dropping players. A no nonsense coach is what this young team needs.

Ah no please. That's the Penrith side below us on the ladder even now, right?

I am not a Griffin fan.

However Penrith are playing some decent footy.

Beat the broncos and Eels.

Lost in last 2 minutes to Cows, Dogs and Raiders.

They will finish much higher then us.

Not for long Jirskyr. They're on the way up. Playing some good footy.

Lol. The club already has a mediator for the staff and players.
Guess it's not working either.

Just like they tanked it under their last coach? They are school girls if that's the case, throwing 2 coaches under the bus. And we the supporters are the ones who suffer.

Forget Sheens ( even though you haven't mentioned him) , he was just old and stale .

IMO I think the boys liked playing for Potter , until Tallis spilled his guts , Farah had a meltdown and jumped the fence heading into denial and had nowhere to hide .
Farah due to his ego and stubbornness turned the tables on Potter and that was the end of him.
I bet if you asked every player their thoughts on Taylor , the majority vote would be IMO that they can't work with him .
Bellamy could turn this playing group around !

In hind-sight i wish Anthony Griffin got the WT coaching job.

Hey TM , can I be honest ??

Griffin is a low down dog , I'd be embarrassed if this so and so ever took over our club

Why is that Happy?

Yes you can we have just appointed two coaches who are light weights who could not undertake the massive job that is the Wests Tigers. It has to be a seasoned Pro and the only one I can think of is Ivan Cleary.

True.

Wins over 24 games not over 6 rounds.

Looking at the form of both teams Penrith will have plenty more once the draw evens up.

Not saying you will be wrong, but let's revisit this thread at the end of the year.

I'm starting to get the feeling that the reason for JT wanting Farah gone and Marty and other experienced players is so he is head of a bunch of yes men while at the same time he trots out accountability and not making excuses spin hoping management will think that JT is saying all the right things so stick with him even if they are losing so he can work on paying off his substantial Northbridge home and investment properties.

Wouldn't get away with this stuff coaching an experienced team even if they are going better

Taylor won't last till round 15 he will be GOOONE

Keep dreaming. As he keeps saying, he has the full backing of Wests Tigers management.

Look I am not sure if sacking him during the season is the answer. At the end of the year if results don't improve i would however see no point in keeping him for his final year (If we don't finish 10th or better why give him a third year other than you don't want to pay him out, it may be cheaper to pay him out then to keep getting poor results).

The other factor will be the ownership. When that is sorted out i fully expect a new board will be in place and I doubt they will have the same loyalty to Jason Taylor as they didn't appoint him and can blame the former board for his appointment.
