how did our ‘first choice halves’ go over the last 18 months

Now I’ve been very interested to read about Chris Lawrence leaving the club after some sort of run in with Lee.
A true Tiger, he gave his all and even returned from a frightening facial injury to try and help by
playing.
From what I can gather at a recent game he texted Lee and said you can’t be happy with what we are dishing up) or words to that effect). Looks like Lee took offence and admonished Lawrence whose reaction was to quit the club.
Very sad all round, I’m sure he was just reiterating what any logical person was thinking but must have got Lee on a bad day.
Don’t know if it’s retrievable but not the way you want to see your legends exit the club.
If anyone else has further info would love to hear it !

I read it in the papers too, Chris was a true tiger and had every right to send that message to Lee,that’s just another badly handled issue, to one of our legends!!
