Tommy Talau seems to be the forgotten man on this forum.

Only 20 years old and 8 tries from 13 games in his debut season.

A season under his belt will do him a world of good in terms of confidence and experience.

Talau’s a hard one to figure out...

He has a lot of people in the NRL world backing him as young talent of the future, yet I find the likes of Daine Laurie, Tuki Simpkins and Utoikamanu have just shown us what they have to offer WT with just the handful of minutes they’ve played for us in trials and that makes me very excited...

Tommy has played 13 games and I’m still waiting to get a glimpse of anything that suggests he deserves the wraps his been given...

I dont care how many on here are prepared to bag me out bigtime,but I have always learnt that in my playing days "experience will lead the way"...Mbye,Tamou,Brooks, JTJ and BJ will help hone the skills of the young group in the squad,and will all go above and beyond to help this team and Madge make the finals this year..Madge has had a lot to do with the JET in previous coaching contract and I can see him really finding his form that made him an origin sensation...
For all the ones on here that want to criticise players,there are excuses for most of our highly played players such as Packer,Mbye,JR when he was here ...injuries and personal problems affect all of us.these guys are no exception,if Mbye and JTJ are fully fit we will see why they could command the big dollars they were paid...put all the crap aside,get behind what Madge is trying to do and most of all have faith in our team...we will make the finals this year,I do have faith...

I feel like I've seen a fire in tomyh across the two trials this year that I hadn't seen before (in the past he's been quite shy), hopefully this continues into regular season, looking forward to it

Luciano had a great year last year and must have gone close to SOO selection. Pity he is from the St George area because if he originated from north of the bridge Qld could have claimed him.

Tuilagi, Simpkins, Laurie or Blore should all be in the running.
