Scored a hatrick.
The guy is clearly excellent in attack but in defence he's rubbish.

What about the other 12 players in front of him? How was their defence? Did anyone of them score a hat trick?

Not a clue.

Your support of Mullaney is admirable but let's be honest, while Mullaney is very good in attack and knows how to sniff out a try better than most players his age, if you run someone at him in a one on one situation, he's going to get beaten more often than not. Defence is something Jake needs to improve on if he's going to get a run in FG. He might get a chance if Moltzen doesn't get his act together quick smart, but right now his main issue is defence and it always has been.

Mullaney is a work in progress.

The step from NYC to State Cup seems to have been a big one for him but he is getting better and he and Meaney and Waters are beginning to gel. He certainly floats well behind the play and options well. His defensive is a little bit iffy but improving. He needs more work under the high ball and size would always help for kick returns but he is developing and is a superior player to this time last year.

Meaney's skills as a 5/8 are growing every match

The forwards were generally very good. As Kul said Moors is not a prop and won't be one as he doesn't have the type of work ethic required but he is a devestating fringe runner with a good offload.

Curran plays hard every week and would not look out ouf place in a utility position if required for NRL. Developing in the Gower mould but is shorter.

Ndaira was very good and Waters seemed to settle in and guide the team very well

Tagive needs work, needs to adjust to State Cup if there again and develop his handling better but again long term prospect.

There were no poor performances but really Pearn and Junior R were the standouts. Neither would look out of place in the NRL squad, that said Pearn was just as good last year and didn't get a shot, but Junior in particular was great.

An always spiteful clash between the two sides. Florimo is a bit of a germ but he will awaken this morning with Schirnack bruises all over his torso I think so its all good

Smeg you're being very biased with your last comment. How can you comment by saying Florimo is a germ and then say It's good that he will awake with Schirnack bruises. There was grubby play by our boys yesterday in particular Sean Meaney. I was embarrassed with his sledging remarks. Totally unprofessional.

I was talking about the amount of times Jason destroyed him in brutal and legal tackles.

There is always spite between these sides as most know each other through work or the amount who are ex Balmain junior or State Cup players.

Meaney always sledges. He has won us more than a few games buy pushing the right buttons on opposition players

Thanks for the updates and analysis. Haven't had the opportunity to see Mullaney play State Cup yet. Perhaps we'll have to wait til next year for him, and maybe an off season and some more weight will do him good. But like everyone's saying he can sure score a try. Bet he'd love playing off Benji and Robbie too.

Good result for the Tigers considering Norths put the cleaners through them a few weeks back, when Ryan was mentioned was it Matty Ryan or Beau Knows?.

Matt Ryan mate. No contracted WT players not required were cited. Alot of Bunnies NRL players around though
