Big bench.

Hopefully a radio broadcast of the day is available.

I am guessing a few chaps will be on standby for the NRL game so that is probably the reason for the size of the bench

I don't think there's a live radio broadcast of this game Smeg, but a Game cast on the NSW RL website

June 4 Central Coast Centurions Vs Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers from Morrie Breen Oval.

The BRET team is starting to look stronger now. Hope they can roll the Centurions and start to build some momentum.

Eshmans back, Sheens had big raps on the kid a few years ago before he quit the game to join the Army. In think Sheens held him on a par with Lawrence

Con Mika was going to be the next big thing but never went on with it . Anyone know why ??

And then there was another Tiger who only played a handful of NRL games to give the game up for another career, was it Luke or Liam Duffy who went to work on a cruise ship?

Yep now that first grade have a lot of the players back both Bret and the 20s are looking a lot stronger

IMO that BRET side should beat most BRL sides, but I don't understand these modern terms like "culture" and "attitude" that seem to explain why the Tigers are not undefeated

It was Luke - but he was a bit small for top grade league!!

As for Eshman - rating him alongside Lawrence is a tad ridiculous!!!

Keith was a fair bit older & more developed as a player when at the club - but Rowdy was a superstar teenager with the world at his feet (as he proved in his debut V. Broncos at Suncorp)!!!

Yep that blew my mind too. Played one game against the Storm? Poor bloke was thrown in the deep end a bit. Someone said he joined the army? Interesting to see Finau on the wing for BRET.

Apparantly the deal for Matty Ryan to go to the Eels is done. At least according to the guys at NSWRL

Good luck to Matt, not much chance of a run with Weststigers and they should never deny anyone an opportunity for the sake of holiding on to them.

Hope Eshman gets some game time. Will be interested ton hear how he looks physically, he was well underdone for size when he was last here.

Yeah, good luck to Matty, hope he kills it! But, still sad to see him go. :frowning:
