Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers coach Paul Fletcher has announced his team for Round 24 of the 2011 NSW Cup.

The Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers take on the Wentworthville Magpies.

The game is being played at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday starting at 3.00pm.

Some familiar names in this Wenty side…are there ex- BRET guys in here??...like Greaves, Waters, Ryan..???
 
I think you will find that said players wish to play for Wests Tigers….
Playing for BRET or Wests... Would not be thier goal in footy

Definately missing Al Schirnack, also the departure of Matty Ryan and Sam Latu during the season has been a big loss for the team. The constant reshuffling of players throughout the year hasn't helped either.

That said, Mortimer and Humble were on fire yesterday, both a cut above state cup level.

The Tigers looked like they didn't want to be there. Fire up Tigers!!!

The way they are playing is not the way to make it into the first grade side.

Must be a reason.
 
i remember when liam fulton was playing nsw premier league (nsw cup) in i think 2007 for a bit and he had to play for balmain against wests, and he played his best ofcourse, and balmain won, but after the game he refused to sing the balmain victory song because he knew he should have been playing for the other side :laughing:

that was in gosford. when wt played storm there
