Hi guys would just like to post a question to evey one ..Who would you perfer to sign next year as full back Brett Hodgson or Lote Tuqiri ..Brett is 19 months older than Lote would be cheaper to buy great club man good at kicking goals… nows the way the tigers play and could help the the younger players at the club and wears his heart on his sleeve ....

I would say Brett but thats just me please tell me what you think ?

Hodgson has played a lot more tough football in his career.

Given the fact Lote has been catching a cold in rugby for the last 8 odd years I would say his body would be a lot fresher.

I wonder if there is any chance we will have both in 2010?

Lote

We have enough creativity in the halves/centres, we just need a large, powerful fullback to crash over the line

plus, Lote will bring 2000 more to a game

Hodgo….Man of Steal....

Will win you more games than Lortay will.........

As much as I am no real fan of the bloke I'd have to say Lote…..Hodgo didnt offer much in his last year with us.

stryker, did you watch the tigers in 08? Hodgo was our best player by a country mile.He has lotta tequila covered in every aspect of the game, and would cost half as much.id have hodgo over anybody.

Hodgo has probably been my favourite West Tigers player but I'd like to see a big fullback like Lote returning the ball for us.

I just think at this point he would suit the team more than Hodgo.

If you wanted to go for Hodgo might as well just take a punt on Mullaney who would be cheaper, has had lest body impact and is quicker also.

Playmakers next year won't exactly be our weak point with Lui, Moltzen and Tomato in the ranks plus we get back Fulton who gives us the added bonus of a support player either side of the ruck.

Having someone who can break the line or get us on the frontfoot from a kick return is something that would add more benifit to our side IMO.

Never thought I would agree with Stryker. Hodgo was disappointing in his final season with us. Gave his all but wasnt as effective as he had been.

Geo I am of the view that Super League tends to favour older players as it is played at pace slower and on softer grounds - no comparison to the NRL.

18 months is a big difference when the players are over the 30 age mark - particularly with a player like Hodgo who has been battered around his whole career.
