Yeah mate I know that he won the MOS over there but it is a different kettle of fish.

on being the worst signing the wests tigers have ever had :laughing: and yes worse than harris and graham
you guys have to be crazy to believe a 30 year old who hasnt played nrl in 5-6 years could actually play in one of the most important postions on the field :unamused:

now if hes on the wing i guess i dont have a problem and we could pick up hodgson to play fullback :slight_smile:

I disagree Tuqir's basic skills are very good and he will easily handle playing fullback in the NRL. His kick returns are what will give him the edge over Mullaney who is agreat support player but not a great kick returner.
Leave Hodgson in England, he is there because he is past his best.

Lote was still one of the best players in Australian Rugby last year.
Just like Sailor was last year at St. George he will be a match winner. 6 years ago are you serious, you dead set have got no idea.

We have enough creativity in the halves/centres, we just need a large, powerful fullback to crash over the line

plus, Lote will bring 2000 more to a game

Unfortunately 50% of the game time in NRL is spent in DEfence and unlike the under 20's its pretty important in the top grade.

Tuqiri doesn't strike me as a great defender or defense organiser…..I vote Hodgson.

Lote by a long way. Unfortunately Hodgo lost too much speed and couldn't make those clutch defensive plays in his last 2 seasons. I have seen some highlights of Lote playing in the UK rugby comp and he looks explosive and has put on a couple of good shots.

hodgo, A legend in his time at the tigers I have no doubt but now we have signed tuqiri we must support the players we have on our roster.
