Bring back dean halatau....

I think Dene still has the same basic strengths and weaknesses he had when he left us. I wouldn't object to his signing but realistically where would be play?

would take him back in heartbeat. halatau is a tiger through and through. maybe the tigers should get him before june 30, makes an ideal bench player and he has been in good form so far this season and is probably just coming into the prime of his career.

Deno's a legend, would love him back. If he could have maintained the form he had in the 05 finals series he'd be as good as Tony Williams. The guy was unstoppable, just look at his first try in the pre-lim against the Dragons

Thanks but no thanks. He's spent a lot of time in reserves at Canterbury. This year is the first time we've seen glimpses of his old form. I'm happier with Eddy and Bodene.

Yeah agree Fraze it is the first time I have seen him playing well for a long time

Does that say something about Dene or does that say something else ??

I would stay away from Dene , too small , gets dominated a lot , never wins the wrestle

Nah I dont want him at all.

He was great early on but fully deserved to be punted after turning in several years of inept and lazy football. If he is having a career resurgence, good on him…I wish him well. Just not enough to want to see him back in Wests Tigers colours.

YES PLEASE!
Too much negativity, he has kills it.
I believe he'd cherish the chance and be one of the best signings we'd ever make if it were to happen.
I'd have him as #14/15/16/17 or even #12 if need be.
Runs hard, good defender, great player & TIGER BY HEART.

Deno played a couple of good games for us - always grateful for that. But I think there are much better options; dont see him back with the Tigers.

It'd be good to see him back, but realistically we don't have room for him at this point, with 5/6 players off contract at the end of the year, sure, but with signings like Eddy and Thompson we have the back row covered.

His career stalled with us, I don't want to turn this into another sheens bashing thread but he was turned into a very one dimensional player.

This year hasler has reinvented him. I have seen him pass the ball more this year then I did in his 5-6 years with us.

People complain and say we can't have Heighno and Fulton in the same side, yet they want to bring back Halatau? Puh-lease :bash

Half a dozen decent games and he's the next superstar. No thanks.
