Bring back dean halatau....

Whilst for mine he was the player of the 2005 finals series we don't need him to return. We have enough small backrowers and we have signed both Pettybourne and Thompson. We also have a few handy young backrowers coming through. So as much as I like him as a player we have more pressing needs.

Thanks but no thanks. He's spent a lot of time in reserves at Canterbury. This year is the first time we've seen glimpses of his old form. I'm happier with Eddy and Bodene.

He's played 1 Reserve grade game for Dogs in 3 seasons. He's no chance at returning, Sheens loves him but other officials didn't want him 3 seasons ago and they are still here.

People complain and say we can't have Heighno and Fulton in the same side, yet they want to bring back Halatau? Puh-lease :bash

Half a dozen decent games and he's the next superstar. No thanks.

Astute observation Alex.

As Tigerbenji has said, I'd rather we sign another decent prop… Preferably one who will bend the line and has a good offload.

No thanks… We already playing two hookers a game and Bodene Thompson can cover centres/second row.

Agree. The Tigers don't need him, plain and simple.

Short of some wheeler dealing I think we are all but done with bigger signings and anything else will be depth and NYC graduates etc

Halatau will forever remain one of my faves after 2005, he was super in the Pre-lim particularly, and would happily have him back except we kind of filled up in the role he would play, and TBF at a lower price (im guessing but most likely)
Id like to see Dene earn some big dollars at the end of his career and he wont get that here.

if you bring back Dene, may as well get Hodgo, and Princey as well.
they all contributed to wests-tigers winning a premiership.
.

like Goose said, let him earn bigger money, but he wont get it at wests-tigers

If knees could be jerked any harder we'd have to start calling in Isaac Luke!

He's been great at the dogs, yes… for about 8 games. He's also had some forgettable seasons as well, due to injury, and lack of impact.

He's hasn't exactly killed it though. - an example of someone killing it at the dogs would be Kasiano.

He'd want more money than he was on here previously.

Anasta was a cheaper buy - and who would you pick? Anasta or Halatau?

Great Guy, Met him a handfull of times.

We wouldnt have a spot for him here at the tigers full time these days
