Broncos V Cowboys

The cowboys were robbed the forward pass was a bad call and with the Thurston knock on the broncos winger touched the ball first so the knock on if there was one should have been in favour of the Cowboys.

Robbed? That pass was forward by 3 or 4 metres, I thought it looked pretty clear on the replays with the 10 metre line as an indicator.
Someone on this forum posted elsewhere that the Thurston no-try was ruled a knock-on by Feldt not Thurston, apparently the NRL tweeted it or something on social media after the match.

Meanwhile Bennett complains about golden point and how his team (with their standard Friday night schedule) have to back up again next week after an extra 10 minutes of football -

- while every other team who have to play Monday nights then back up again Friday (4-5 day turn around) have lost so far this year…

"It's not as if we get another 3 months off after that effort" …what a sook he is, its getting harder and harder to stomach the bloke.
If super-fit blokes can't handle another 4 mins of footy like happened last night then they should give the game away. Maybe Bennett needs to read up a bit on some of the wartime conflicts our country has been involved in to help him get a reality check- our Diggers would be ropeable at him having the nerve to moan about playing an extra 4 mins of footy after the hardships and suffering they endured.
I don't agree with golden point either, especially in GF's, it needs to change.
But Unca Whine and the Broncos have no right to complain about anything TBH, they get advantages and leg-ups in the NRL that other teams could only dream of.

Good coach when he has a team full of rep players. But getting to be more and more of a Wanker every season
And thinks that he's bigger than the game

Once a decoy runner makes contact with a defender that's it. It's pretty cut and dry.

He didn't make contact - he was running through the line and the defender just grabbed him to gain the penalty. I suppose technically because he ran to the outside shoulder they called it obstruction. The stupid part is a decoy runner is always going to be running on the outside shoulder of someone.

He does have to get credit though for shifting the topic away from dodgey ref calls…

I absolutely loved that rule on 2/10/05 when Faiumu got pinged for pushing over Halatau :sign:
We were tilting a bit at that point of the game IIRC.
