Brooks/Moses our future

Brooks and Moses are our future
I have had it with Benji
Can't kick out on a penalty - needs to spend some time in state cup

Moses was outstanding in the NYC tonight and Brooks has the kicking game that can put pressure on oppositions

It looks like this year is a write off -although heads up fans we are coming into a golden era minus Benji I hope

The Tigers are at a point where a decision needs to be made. Stick with Benji and risk losing a star youngster, or get rid of Benji and hope the young stars come through.

It seems like a no brainer as the youngsters cant do any worse than what Benji is doing. But sadly, i have little doubt Benji will stay.

If Benji is re-signed after the last fortnight , the asylum has finally taken over at the Tigers

People will need lots of answers if they do so

Maybe the answer is Tigers fans continue to go to games but face the opposite direction of the game

It will be interesting to see what size crowds this side is pulling in 2 months time. Tonight was pathetic and dominated by Shark fans.

If Benji can't control a team by now then he'll never learn. He's looked rubbish the last 18 months.

I watched Brooks and Moses play together a few weeks ago and they worked so well as a halves combination TOGETHER, not like a separate 6 and 7\. It was so evident how much a difference this makes to the team and it was brilliant to watch.

Moses was once again a highlight to watch tonight. I used to arrive at the ground around half time in the 20s but have since started making my way there for the U20s kickoff just to watch this kid play. He's dominating the 20s the same way I saw Dwyer, Lui, Woods, Fifita and Tedesco do it. Exciting times ahead if we hang on to him.

I agree it's time to blood our new halves combo…and move Benji to prop so he can earn his $4m...ang get smashed in the process

mate play them against souths
let em taste the tough stuff
it can only get easier from there.

in all seriousness, attack wise, they'll do a better job than what we got at the moment

i just hope Potter has the guts to drop Benji this week otherwise he will keep doing what he is doing every week which is nothing. I also agree that we need to let him go and not extend his contract that would free up so much money to buy 2 or 3 real quality forwards. but some how i see the Tigers with all certainty signing him tip 2017 and we lose another talent in Moses.

i think he'll drop him.

I think Potter has realised that next week will be a baptism by fire, and is holding off on a few players until after it is over and done. His hand has been forced thus far, but he seems wiley, and knows we dont need further weaknesses exposed by the monsters of the comp un-nescesarily.

Exactly…I expect the same team for the next 2 rounds. Get passed The Bunnies and Cows then change the structure of the squad as we will have 16 days to prepare for Penrith when we can let some of these guys have a crack.

i swear, some of these thread: get payten, get brooks/moses/santi etc.

why not just blood the whole bloody nyc team into 1st grade?
have some patience, the players we're seeing in 1st grade are going through some tough changes from playing fairy gloss to playing like real hard tough men.
it's gonna take a while, some willl be up to it, some wont.

give it time.. what you're seeing out there on the field i can tell is 100% commitment from MOST (bar a couple) of the players.. they are raw and do make mistakes, but they are committing. they have the skill set, and eventually many of them will succeed.

have some bloody patience.

Imagine a young blood spine to the team….

Luani at 9, Moses at 6, Brooks at 7 and Tedesco at 1...

They are kids, having the Burgess boys plus Sutton and Inglis running at you all day would be sending lambs to the slaughter. If and when the team improves a little, give them some bench time, but really leave them in cotton wool till 2014 and maybe next year after a off season pumping iron give them the 6 and 7 gig
