Your kidding. Brooks, im not seeing it.

Our attack is as ineffective as the worst team in the comp at the moment.

He was far too individual today as well and they didn't turn out right.

Sorry, but im not seeing what you are.

Brooks nearly set up a try for himself Fulton bombed the try from the kick he put through and tapau got taken out and should have scored . That's 3 tries we could've scored and u don't see it.

If only he would tell anasta to sod off and grab the ball himself for the general play kicking duties!
Other than that it was his best game in a few weeks. There wasn't much else he could have done today.

he showed skill and talent- however as squid said he was far too individualistic (if that's a word).. he needs to use his decoy runners a lot more like he did for the line break.

also, as a halfback he needs to roam around the field rather than sticking tot he LHS

I did endure watching that game today.

Brooks has glimses. That is not enough, but will be enough as you watch the team go down the ladder.

Keep Brooks sure, but get rid of the poor excuse that Anasta needs to be there to hold his hand.

Brooks does not do enough, does not offer enough in attack for us to have Anasta next to him.

Brooks was good, the kid tried to pull a rabbit out of the hat a few times and slnost did..the problem in attack was our 5/8..too old and too slow, did he do anything at all?

Agreed within reason.

I think he can be a gun but he needs to improve a lot.

To me this is the key issue with our halves. Brooks may be a gun but at the moment he has to cover for Anasta. He has to come up with key plays all the time because Anasta stuffs us up all the time.

Yet I would say over 80% of people on this forum want Anasta to "guide" Brooks. Anasta has been getting wraps for Brooks progression. To me it is garbage and its being exposed for that and more every week.

Brooks controlled nothing today, we were rudderless

Blame farah & Potter eddie, not 80% of people here
Farah gave Anasta huge raps thru the week

He needs to roam around more. Get people in position- however being the youngest player in the team wouldn't help.

To be honest and brutal, Brooks looked out of his depth in trying to find something and he had his mentor screwing everything he touched.

The kid has had 9 FG games and has lost half his teams spine which he has been training with all off-season…Plus the guy who is supposed to be ''Guiding'' him is playing like a reserve grader.

Wasnt Brooks job to control, that was Anastas job today and has been all year. Its clear Potter has, rightly or wrongly, tasked Anasta with organising.

Brooks' job is to inject himself into the game at the right time, which is what he did today. That line break was sensational. He also put a try on the platter for Fulton.

Played as good as any 19 year old Halfback I have seen.

He is showing loads of talent, but like most young players is still learning to get the balance between Big plays and percentage plays right.
Experience will come, you can't expect a kid to play like joey johns after 10 games.
