Brown & Daniella Waste of Time? Yes? No?

Depth is the key here. Who knows Davis could be a more likely shot at first grade but he needs a replacement in the State Cup team if so. I think the Brown signing is a very interesting one to follow.

I wouldn't have any centre over Lawrence and Ayshford. Ayshford has taken to first grade much quicker then Lawrence imo. He hasn't got the bursting speed of Lawrence but he can motor. Solid defender and can take a decent hit up. If Moltzen see's some time in the halves again, I expect their combination to be something special in time.

I can't see Daniella forcing his way into the team unless we get some long term injuries where as Brown could suprise a few people imo.

It was time for some guys to move on, ala Collis, Halatau, Morris etc… You need to replace these guys in some way and I think the money exchange would be well in our favour by replacing them with daniella, Brown, and Fitzy, making them good buys imo.
 
i saw brown up at miranda last week, he is huge. would be the tallest back at the club by far imo.

daniela is an absolute waste. we have players who cant get a run in PL that are better then him.
 
according to some penrith supporters who had the chance to watch him in nsw cup..they say he is as fast as jennings but just doesnt have the same acceleration..
Upon hearing this i immediately replaced ryan for him in my wests tigers squad on rugbyleague2 :stuck_out_tongue: haha

Hey Prichy....I'm with you mate........Ayshford's a GUN....tomcats just peeved cause he and Ryan are keeping Davis and Pritchard out of first grade.....
 
HA,HA, yeah i guess im a little dissapointed Davis and Pritchard, haven't made their debut, i watched both very closely this year,both are first grade material, maybe there turn will come through injury…
 
Brown was an Australian school-boy and you don't get there by accident. I expect him to play fullback come round 1 as he has left a sure spot at the Sharks and he wouldn't have left if he didn't get 1st shot at his preferred position with us. He is big and quick which seems to be a must for fullbacks in the modern game.

Daniella is apparently very quick and has showed some signs of being a good finisher. Is a depth signing at the worst and could cement a wing spot if given an early opportunity.

Brown being an Australian schoolboy has been used a few times to support his signing…....i dont get it. There's been a heap of players who played Aussie schoolboys and never even played grade let alone be a good first grader, so i dont know how it actually supports him.

However, i am a fan of his signing and have wanted him at the Tigers for a couple of years now and i expect him to do well for us.

Yes true..but there have been a hell of a lot that have…..Have a look at the Roos ATM.....

Brown ran for over 150 meters on 5 occasions last year from fullback......and was amoungst the Sharks best metre makers.....In 19 games he would have ranked 5th in metres gained if he was a Tiger......6 of those games where off the interchange bench.......

I deleted your post, along with the other argumentative posts between yourself and Tomcat. Telling Geo to stay out of it is not on. He's a Moderator and well within his right to request you stay on topic and leave the bickering out of it. That's not what this forum is about, so please make the effort to keep the posts constructive rather than having a go at one another.
