Again proof that the nrl is out there to protect its image and its star attractions. Truth is Gibbs probably did get a fair sentance when you look at his case and his case alone. Clearly though in comparison with other cases this season Gibbs has been brutalised unfairly and all because he is just your average first grader.

I don't want to side track this discussion, but there are double standards everywhere. This is what happens when you have a conflict of interest with the ownership and administration of the game.

I actually have no issue with whatever happens to Inglis this weekend as the evidence has been presented in court and a decision can be made by the NRL and Storm either way. The double standard is that the NRL suspended him until they heard the evidence in court, but Brett Stewart is allowed to play this weekend and no one knows anything of the evidence presented against him.

What really gets me is that the point of contact of the knee was done before the ball was grounded, thus the incident was not after he scored but in the process of scoring a try.

Could someone explain the first THREE instances to me.

The first two I know, not sure about the third.

1) Soward kicks at the ball/face while being fended off by Inglis. Games Missed - 0

2) Thurston kicks at the face of Williams. The kick breaks Williams cheek. Games Missed - 0

I can understand the comparisons being made and that in the context of things he probably didn't deserve 3 weeks especially as we got an 8 point try against us which started the shift of momentum.

But in saying that Gibbs is a serial offender when it comes to stupid penalties and anyone trying to defend this is kidding themselves, it is a real shame that Gibbsy still has that in his game becasue as someone who has never really rated him I think he has come on really good this season and we are now going to miss him for the run home…wasteed aggression there.

Do you know how many sports around the World have been busted for inside cheating even our own Cricketers have been busted for betting in dodgy deals
you never know when it comes to lots of money its so easy to fudge the books dude !
