Buderus Soft

so who do you think is in better form than him? the only other one i would say is de gois. ennis and farah have been below par

You would have to say it would be down to the City /Country hookers and Ennis - although he seems to have gone from the media and selectors darling to unwanted .
And didn't Ennis dodge this same game (and Farah) last year?
Farah hasn't played much , what with the suspension and head knock - plus was affected by that broken hooter.
Still rather have him than Buderus (who's no bigger machine in defence than Farah)
Buderus' 'aura' took us to a few losing series when Farah was far superior to him.

i agree farah was better than buderus years ago, however farah has deteriorated the last few years as a hooker and is no where near the form he was once in.. now buderus is playing better than him imo… anyway, we'll find out soon i guess.

The push for Buderus for Origin was always gonna happen - I called it in January when I realised he was coming back to the NRL. It's his leadership and cool head they are looking at, more than his actual ability, which is by no means lacking, even if he is getting on in years. If NSW lose the first game again, Hinchcliffe will be next in line - he may even be on the bench in the first game anyway. Farah has been out of contention for years and Ennis is now out of it, also - this being the best thing about this whole scenario

Isnt it funny how NSW always select sides based on everything else besides fitness, form and skill.

It is always selected based on "Built for Origin", "Combinations", "Experience", "Toughness", "Leadership", "Aggression", etc.

How about just picking the best players for their positions based on skill rather then all these other mythical ideas.

The problem is Jazza that all the good players in each position based on skill are Qlders

Until Smith ,Cronk ,Thurston, ' Slater ,Hodges ,Inglis ,Scott,Taylor and Hannant retire your mob is in for some dark, dark days imo
