His ego wouldn't have it any other way...he truly thinks he is above anyone else in his knowledge of the game and whats right and whats wrong...The Dogs, un der Gus are masters at controlling the narrative....everything they say and do is well planned and almost scripted...will be intersting what Ciraldo spins out next year as Galvin continues to struggle with the hype and scrunity....I hate the Dogs and their fans....Their nick name suits them to the ground.
 
How must Reed Mahoney feel. Left Parra after a GF, to go tho the Dogs who were at the foot of the ladder. Helped get the club from the bottom 4 to first. And the second he does, gets the arse. Like he wouldn’t be filthy.

Reed is going to the Cows. Sexton to SL. Tbf, I’d rather be in the south of France than Belmore, so Sexton didn’t really come off second best I suppose 🤔

Still, it’s the principle.

It’s all part of who’s journey?
With all the criticism surrounding the dogs collapse there is one common link and omission when you consider the strange behaviour of Gus. To highlight just a couple. Why was Tevita Pangai jr selected for origin? His form certainly didn’t warrant his selection, and he was ready to leave the game. Why did Gould and Ciraldo dovetail Galvin into a top of the ladder team after openly suggesting that he was a work in progress? Culminating with 2 wins in their last 8 games.
Gould and Ciraldo have a truck load of nouse, so who’s pulling the strings?

Could the journey be a no way-out trip stuck in purgatory where their club is constantly in a state of flux.

If Gould and Ciraldo keep creating year after year of blunders like this season has produced it would sooner or later lead them to the guillotine, their long extensions mean jack shit if they fail for stupid reasons like trying to fix something that wasn't broken in the playing roster.

We would rejoice in watching those two D heads fall on their swords.
 
This whole episode has Goulds fingerprints all over it
Gus already has a reputation so he can focus on the medium long term...at the expense of Ciraldo who hasnt really achieved anything yet given the roster at his disposal,and am sure he wld have liked more of the same formula that got him to comp leaders to go further.
You get no choice working with Gus
For what its worth,there are some serious question marks over Ciraldos skills as an attack coach...Dogs got where they were (until yesterday} on the back of their defence...not sure what else CC can deliver with ball in hand.
Maybe one dimensional as a coach..?
..LG also a a massive liability in defence,altho outshone by their left winger who was a defensive disaster against Alomoti
maybe Ciraldo is looking tired...?
