You know what, I hope Payton gets the job. I hope they let moltzen have his own dressing room, I hope Robbie gets to pick assitant coaches and training drills. Personally, I'm a little bit confused as to how to feel. I think that the results of the team make it a strange decision, as we have obviously performed better than we were predicted to, but there have been some very tepid performances throughout the year and team selections at times have been really weird. There has been a lack of gameplan at times and we have failed to play to our advantages in many games. It looks like the team play for Robbie Farah more than Mick Potter.
Also we haven't improved over the season at all, in fact Luke Brooks has gone backwards from what I can see. It might be the right move all things considered as this side could/should probably be performing even better than they are in a year where the comp is rather even and we've beaten the teams coming first, third and fourth by big margins. We need a coach who's more of a motivator imo. Potter seems too measured emotionally and if he's not communicating his plans then what does he really have to offer?
