alot of teams have made the finals the last 4 years without tedesco,moses and woods.
i'm actually looking forward to being in a position of exploiting other teams salary cap problems.
the next 12 months should be devoted to establishing the deepest pack in the comp.
that is the best way to help brooks.

We need them both, very simple
If Tedesco leaves, the club will take years to rebuild, keep him and build the team around him
Woods needs help in the forwards,he has been carrying that pack for a while now.

Agree. IF we are offering 1m Moses, Woods 900k and Teddy 1.2m that's 3.1m. You could buy a whole forward pack of Solid players for that coin. I would guess Evans, Matulino, McQueen, Vete , Asofa Solomona, Kaufusi could be realistic for that money alone.
We would be a better team immeadiately. Big names are great but we need Goons in the pack.

not liking the fact that 2.5 mill is going towards 3 players that cant get us to the finals right now

Even if for some reason statistically he's not got the numbers to back it up (which I assume he would),our fan perception is that he is the only thing that gives us hope.
We are the ones that pay money to go through the gates, buy the new guernsey every year and pay the hard earns to be members. If Tedesco is part the reason people are heading through the gates, that alone is what why he's making us a top team; irrespective of table position.

I know I shouldn't bring up the past but I was a Magpie before being a full blown tiger. And while winning is amazing I take slot out of a team giving their all when they play.
If teddy and woods leave it will suck but 9f they are replaced with players that leave it all on the field I'm ok supporting that. Players that buy into the club and scrap tooth and nail to make it better.
I'm not sure why but I have faith in Cleary making this team a regular finals participant and am happy for it to take a few years which is what I think we will need even of we sign the boys

Woods virtually does 30% more than any other forward at our club… Thats some pretty big shoes to replace, while the other plodders cant get air in there lungs!

Don't get me wrong, he is our best by far. However he is currently in a team that isn't that different to the team that came 9th last year, and we can't buy a try.
I agree with your sentiment but on the other hand I just feel that if we weaken 1 position and strengthen 4 others we will be in a better position all across the park and ultimately that is what will improve the attitude and culture.

We will have plenty of coin to try to make that happen and if Cleary can do it, such a pack will give the sort of performances that lesser names than Tedesco will make the most of.
