it's funny- the people who call him a GOAT are usually his ex teammates. Guys like Slater, Lockyer, Thaiday and even Gallen.

Geez calling anyone who played hooker and 400 games over rated is abit tough regardless of what team they played for.
We saw what Grant did in his rookie year behind our side, put him behind Storm pack and he should look like a world beater as well.

I think it speaks volumes to how good Bellamy is. I think most people would have thought they would come back to the field once Smith, Slater and Cronk finished up, but they didn’t. Then comes Munster, Hughes, Grant and Pap. Greatest coach of all time.

In my opinion of watching 50 years of NRL. Above average player, excellent Captain, definitely not the GOAT. Doesn’t make my top 5 and probably not even top 10 of the last 50 years. But how do you compare a hooker to a centre to a fullback…. It’s always been dicey. Like comparing Winx and Phar Lap.
