Can we back up and make the 8?

I'm so guttered after tonight… Can this give us confidence and help us continue to lift and make the 8, or do we think that game will End our season .. Mentally and physically it will be tough against an albeit poor roosters team that we do seem to struggle against. It seems from many other posts that lots of u feel we are done now for the year even though we could still be very well just 1 win away from a definite top 8 birth . It seems most are worried about that this game may really take the wind out of us.

The game can be cruel and just a few inches here and there can drastically change games and a teams season.

What does everyone think will transpire

I can't work out if it is deep down I know we are done for 2012, or the fact that we were robbed.

Hope its the latter, because tonight showed we can match it with the best.

I am hoping tonights result has a positive effect.

They were clearly dudded tonight twice!. If the calls had gone our way we would have won IMO. We still almost did.
I am sure the boys would love nothing more then to beat and knock the dogs out of the finals after tonight

The dogs are the benchmark and we took them to Golden Point, Hopefully that installs some self confidence into the boys and they can carry that into the finals.

Fire up Boys prove the Refs got it wrong tonight and beat the doggies in the Grand Final

Knights will crack. they have manly and the cowboys, then the raiders. they wont win them.

The raiders are my big concern, as they have a run similar to our run last year. However i think the sharks AND the broncos are very good chances of missing the 8, and we could slip in that way.

Tonight could of well have been the grand final. But you know us tigers, give it all one week against a hard team and then lose it the next week against a poor side

Have to disagree there, doggy. I think the Knights are specials. They have destroyed both Manly and the Sharks in the past month - they are coming good at exactly the right time and are being guided by _the_ best finals coach. Hope you're right about Brisbane and Cronulla though. If one or both of them falter then we may have a show, but it's a slim chance. All will be revealed in 3 weeks.

i said it 6 weeks ago it's gonna come down to the storm game thats the one!! on the ladder predictor so far I have not been wrong since then I even have us losing to the roosters then beating the storm in the final round to make it, however I did base that on the Storm resting players at the time

please anyone but the faiders making it please!!! they have roosters bulldogs and warriors 2 games they should win and dont be surprised if the bulldogs finally lose that game

That style of loss can have 2 different effects but the long turnaround is not going to help. It will come down to how Sheens allows them to prepare for next week, but forget about using last night as a motivating factor. It's simply too long a turnaround…

I hope the boys can get away for a few days and turn their phones off. Social media is going nuts so mainstream media is gona want to hound the crap out of the players for that 'one' comment. They need to prepare for the Roosters with the same preparation which saw the boys ready for a fight like last night or we are minced...

Based on how we played, yes we can make it. Based on how robbed the players must feel, not so sure.

Hopefully the Knights and Raiders will lose, that will help.

Sharks play Storm.
Raiders play Bulldogs

Assuming (dangerous to do so) that South defeat Sharks tonight, we could get to sixth position with one round left. I thinkl we are going to have to get to the SFS in numbers and get the Tigers home. Plus any win over the Roosters, unless a one point win will get us to a positive for and against. Could be handy with a game in hand at Leichhardt Oval. Next week will be big!

Raiders suck. Bulldogs may tank against them to let them in. I would put $50 on the raiders.
