Can We Beat Roosters ??

Sorry to sound like a wet blanket, but do we have to go through these threads every single week of can we beat our opponents? of course we bloody can, we can beat anyone

I think it will be a tough game. It's the type of the game we cold be a bit cocky especially at Leichhardt. We need to play well against a team I think we be desperate

One thing I really would like us get stuck into is a bit of sledging

The Roosters have little discipline and are the most heavily penalized club in the NRL

With a bit of help from the Leichardt faithful and Farah , Blair winding them up they could defeat themselves .

We don't tend to lose at Leichardt, even games we never look like winning. I think we'll win by 20 after leading at halftime by 8 or so.

At Leichhardt against these guys we will start at $1.50ish , we should win easily, nothing is a given in NRL footy, but it a should win game

Roosters always seem to be a tough team for us to play against but at Leichhardt it should lead to a win for us, but it will be close.

Moltzen/Ryan vs Minichello…winner= Ryan
Curtis Sironen vs Anasta...winner= Sirro by a mile
Marshall vs Pearce..winner= Marshall
Farrah vs who?...winner= Farah

how would they win?

Ryan > Minichiello > Moltzen

you would expect us to win easy and if we expect to be in the hunt in 2012 you cant drop games against teams like the chooks.

in saying all that the chooks play a very physical in your face style of game and that always causes us grief. i worry about every game but the chooks scare me more than most. also i noticed last friday night that our intensity seemed to be on the slide a little.

Very easily. Games aren't won on paper

Carney and SKD caused us plenty of grief the last couple of years and neither of them will be there this week.

For mine this is the toughest pack Wests Tiges have ever had, even with Ellis out. Woodsy and Galloway are playing possessed. Bell has been a great buy, Cashmere has given real good value in his short time and BMM has also become more reliable. Somewhat makes up for the potential loss of Fulton and Heighno this week. Farah's return will be a big help.

The only things to undo us would be a fatigued Farah and particularly Woods, and some back-to-earth performances from Tuqiri and Utai. Not saying this to sledge, but not sure if Moltzen's return really changes anything.
