Western Suburbs Magpies Canterbury Cup Coach Brett Hodgson has named his side to take on the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles for their Round 21 clash this Sunday afternoon.

considering we play Manly only 4 days after this clash the usual of Liddle, Reynolds, Taylor, Talau might not drop down if any of the guys are carrying knocks. If they dont you'd think they'll struggle, even against a last placed Workers.

A weak starting pack. Hopefully they can aim up.

They'll be strengthened somewhat with a few players dropping back from FG.

I would play Seyfarth for the 80mins at lock. Feel like he could come good in our first grade side next year as a lock with Matterson going back to the backrow because our stocks there are weak.

Liddel, Talau and McQueen didn't play due to the injuries and possible suspensions in first grade.

Madden got injured.

@DieHarder Ratuvakacereivalu I think, Yea I had to copy and paste his name...

Blacktown workers are Ron Massey grade....and we can't even beat them....the future is looking bleak...total clean out needed

@tigerap Really........ they had 8 players with NRL experience and we had 2 and to be honest our coach might be the weak link

What happened to that beast of a prop with the long surname looked Fijian.

I think Ratu broke his arm or shoulder a month or two ago.

Anyone got any idea what happened to Madden? He had a knee/groin niggle a few weeks back, maybe a recurrence? Hopefully nothing too serious.

They scored five tries and five goals, we scored four tries and two goals.

Hardly a wrist cutting result.
