There would never be a better case to make than this one, since the decision was made after the game was finished. Mistakes happen during a game, fine, but the game was over and the result reversed.
The moment Holmes stepped over the line to kick off, the game was over. There were so many problems. Klein's instant decision, made without due consideration, the offside kick off, allowing a Cowboys challenge without a stop in play, the denial of Tigers to challenge, and Phelps very obviously running into a WT player and theatrically falling over.
Now, without Jacko, we look like specials for a wooden spoon we don't (quite) deserve.
Very disappointed. This should have gone to court IMO. It would also put the NRL on notice to fix its officiating of weaker clubs. One week holiday for Klein after arguably the worst decision in NRL history was a pathetic response.
