Captain v coach...

**The captain:**

Tamou would like to see Doueihi continue his dominant role, *****declaring it’s the best result for the team moving forward.*****

“For Adam to do that, maybe it allows Brooksy a chance to take a step back,” Tamou said ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Gold Coast at Campbelltown.

“He has got that voice and when he speaks everyone listens, but he backs it up and puts his body on the line.

**Summary =** AD needs to lead...more ball...more responsibility.

**The coach:** (via Mbye today):

“I’ll be out there to complement Luke [Brooks]. I need to give him space and time to let him do what he does best,” he said.

“*He can be on the ball a bit more. **We’re*** confident it’s going to work.”

So...the captain = it has to be AD's team. Needs to be in control

A few days later = the coach directly not only hands more control to Brooks, but moves AD away from the ball.

I don't see how anyone can say that is not a cataclysmic gap philosophically as to where the team needs to go between our Capt and Coach.

The Wests Tigers is the last place where you'll find commonsense right now...😢

Wouldn't it be nice if the senior players just got stuck in played for their money instead of deflecting from the real issue- they are not up to scratch.

Thanks for pointing this out. Saves me having to.

In my experience front rowers and tactics aren’t that closely associated

Tamou is 32, a very seasoned vet who has seen it all and done it all. We are not paying for his prime, we are paying for his vet savvy. We are paying for him to stand up and say "look, tough on Brooksy, but even though I am new here...it is obvious Luke aint the bloke to lead a team".

That is what leaders do and Tamou said what 99% of us already know. But, he had the vet skills to say it even this early.

For the coach to, less than a week later, go the polar opposite route is stunning IMO.

I think everyone pays way too much attention to what the players say rather than what they do.

I also think Doueihi is a guy we need to build around. I mean if we have to pick out of Brooks and Doueihi would anyone pick Brooks.

Doueihi is though still in the team. He can still do his thing in the centres. I'm just worried he can't defend there.

Madge is an embarrassment for doing this. Straight up. Brooks and Mbye need to be shipped. Bring in Aiden Sezar

7 Sezar
6 Douihei (C)

Don't have a choice ..our football revolves around Luke brooks until they stop picking him ...he owns our side ...but chooses not to
