A game we were completely in control of,up by 4, with an opponent in the bin for another 5 mins. A penalty whilst on the attack and we collapse and lose by 18.

Seyfarth has a very bad habit of conceding stupid penalties. Looks like another ET in the midst

It was the players fault. You don’t give the refs a reason to penalise you when in possession.

The coach doesn’t make you drop the ball continually and give away idiotic penalties. You could see they really needed some big front towers today as well. Grub’s not ready for first grade after that performance and Talou started strong and then made a mistake every time he touched the ball. Hard to watch.

Grub looked the most likely all game, and his game was better than what Benji dished up on Thursday night

I don't mind young players making mistakes, it is part of learning. We were predictable going to the right in attack. Soward mentioned this on numerous occasions. We need to decide whether this team is for improvement of our youngsters for the NRL? Reynolds on what he has shown adds very little to the NRL team other than enthusiasm.

With only one prop named in our 17 today we were always going to struggle. We have few decent props in nrl. None in CC and none flegg. We need to sign at least another 8 props across all grades for next season
