Centre

I can't help but feel we desperately need to sign a centre. Im over Ayshford. He is second most unthreatening centre in the game, behind Joel Reddy. South Sydneys forward pack was more athletic than our back line.

Jennings.
No chance of him hanging around at Penrith.
Let him write his own cheque.

I don't know what game you were watching today! In fact, over the last 2 months he has been earning his money.

Agree Claws

A decent half back should be our main focus

He's earning a motza at Penrith and not worth it IMO.

Ayshford should be in the forwards. I think Ryan goes well in the centres. I think we need through 2 new wingers. Utai has been great for us this year but we need some speed out wide.

I think he's playing ok but seriously if we are happy with this we are accepting mediocrity. Its like accepting Ryan as a long term fullback. He will do a job and make little mistakes, but he won't win you the game or break open the game like all the other fullbacks. Ayshfords been very solid defensively but again offering nothing in attack. He's trying his guts out but when we swing it out wide he just looks like doing absolutely nothing. Theres a spot for him in the in the side but I can't agree its in the centres. Can you name 1 time in the last three years where he's set up his man on the outside? Sort of one of the key fundamentals of being a centre.

I agree. We need to look to win the comp not simply compete. Ayshford isn't the type of player that we need at the moment. Last year his defence was great and he was good when we had the ball. This year he just looks slow to me.

Ayshord played well today.
He will be a gun second rower when he makes the transition.
Having an off year but by the looks of it, most of the team is.

Ayshford will be like Dwyer for us in no time.

We've got enough depth in the back line. Once Tedesco is back, we'll have something like this in the future:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Ryan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete

Teddy, Ryan and Lawrence have the skill. Nofo, Koro and Lawrence have the speed. We're more in need of a true halfback or a refund on Blair. I'd be happy with either.

On a gap year are they? I dont know why everyone thinks it is easy to become an effective backrower….he will get belted there.

I'd love to see that backline.
