CEO - Shane Richardson

I tend to agree with this.
The bloke is not cut from the same cloth as those that the Raiders sign.
He could be with a stern mentor but I dont think Marshall is the guy to do it.
If we keep writing off potential recruits the way we do on here, we won't sign anyone.

KPP is a better recruit than Bird and Seyfarth so I say yes, you have to consider the new teams coming in it's going to get harder to recruit players from this Nov and 26, 60 more players diluting the talent pool.

FFS Richo pull the finger out and get some signings done.

I’m not writing him off.
I do question whether he is better than Bird and Seyfarth though. If he is, then good stuff 👍🏼

I am a massive supporter of Richo but we need 2 things:

1 - We need to announce some signings if we have them to settle us all with some good news..

2 - We need to grow some balls and stick up for the club, Players and Supporters by talking about the refs and how we are always on the wrong end of calls. Them 2 sin bins tonight which costs us the game would not have been sin bins for any other team. The refs know we don't complain or blowup like Hastler, Ricky, etc.. BUT guess what it works as they seem to get a fair go unlike us.

Sorry not trying to whinge but just over getting walked on every single week and no one sticking up for us and players.

I'm starting to see why players want to leave because they know we don't get any favours...
On the first point. I agree we need to be building a squad but he shouldn’t give a stuff what the fans think and do what he needs to do to get results. He knows how to do that better than any of us.

Next couple of months are very important for he and Benji. If we start to slide back again I have no doubt our board will get involved again.

KPP has potential. At times he’s looked great. Just isn’t consistent. Dylan Lucas on the other hand. We’d be cooking with gas if we got that guy.
KPP would fit in with "our style of play"
That style of play being the 20 mins we saw vs the cows
Hes been playing at the knights who are the most boring team in the competiton to watch and one of the best fullbacks in the game even looks shit there

He could definitely benefit from a change of scenery. Are we the club that can unlock him though? That will be the question asked over summer.

He’s dynamic , and I think as Toa starts to be game planned for , there will be space in the unders line in that block shape , as defences look to move early and limit Toa’s space and time on the ball .
I mean Sukkar has been dynamic as he grows into the role ( I was big on him last year . I said he would be a goodun… people mocked me for it ) , so he could provide that dynamism this year , especially if Latu and his sleight of hand are feeding the edge .

As someone who has watched KPP regularly this year out of curiosity and had to watch Seyfarth and Bird, there’s no comparison. KPP beats both in the eye test and box score and it’s not really close.

KPP isn’t some elite second rower and definitely has some areas to work on but he’s only 24 and has improved as the season progressed. He makes nearly120m a game, around 36 tackles at 93% and looks very dangerous when taking on the line and has a good offload. If the figure of 600,000 being floated around is true, it’s a no brainer. Can we unlock his potential? Who knows but it’s definitely better than what we currently have.

Seyfarth gets dominated in attack and defence, is yet to crack 100m in a single game this season despite playing every round and playing full minutes and is good for at least one dumb error every game. His side is deliberately targeted by the opposition although that’s not just because of him. Don’t let his tackle stats fool you. And you can make a good case that he cost us the Warriors game.

Bird had a good start to the season but has been below average over the last 5-6 weeks and was even dropped. His discipline against the Cowboys was just the latest example.

Richo simply has to manufacture one external signing from somewhere. Best performers from Q or NSW cup, Super League, the Socceroos for all I care. Anywhere.

3 internal upgrades to replace the first grade players we have lost will be a massive failure. Mason is the only one who remotely deserves an upgrade.
Sounds like he's got that with the random Canberra cup signing.

I don’t know why people do that . Sonny Bill was a unicorn . He played outside centre for the all blacks , and backrow in nrl . I don’t think there will ever be a Sonny bill again

Lol I sure as hell wouldn’t go that far.

How many of these absurd comparisons ever actually pan out?
