Hodgo plays his 2nd Challenge Cup Final tonight this time for Warrington. I can't believe it's not live for us Aussies. Looks like a replay on Eurosport at 0145….who's gonna watch it??? Hope the little champion Hodgo gets to hold the trophy aloft!!!

Warrington coach Tony Smith said rugby league would never be able to perfectly police concussion after former NSW fullback Brett Hodgson ignored a ferocious head knock to secure the Lance Todd Trophy as Challenge Cup final man of the match.

In a turning point at Wembley Stadium in front of 79,180 fans, the former Wests Tigers No.1 was flattened by Leeds prop Kylie Leuluai early in the second half.

The ball jolted loose and another Australian, Brett Delaney, ran 10 metres to score. But after the sickening impact was replayed on the big screen, the try was disallowed and Leeds given a scrum feed.

In the NRL, there would have been increasing pressure for Hodgson to come off under new guidelines. Instead, he not only continued but set up the next two tries before scoring the clincher in a 35-18 triumph.

How old is Hodgo these days? Loved watching him play for us, ahh the memories & the poor bugger probably still has nightmares about Tallis.

Hodgo is 34 and recently signed a new 2 year extension with Warrington. He's playing as well as ever and is trying to help the Wolves claim a rare double - Challenge Cup winners and Premiers. You can see him live on Sun morning in their 1st semi final on Eurosport!!!

The fact he managed to keep going and pick up the lance Todd medal as M-O-T-M just shows the motor & ticker this guy posseses…and just shows how low weve sunk here
