Chance this year

I have watched every game this year and to be honest I am starting to get a bit confident about our chance of top eight this year. For the first time in a while I have watched games and thought we would beat both those sides. Teams I fear are souths, roosters and maybe penrith apart from them from what I have seen we are very capable of beating the others.

I just think under Taylor we will be a bit more consistent. Not great one week terrible the next . I can see he is trying to get the old mentality we have had for years slowly out. Saying that I still hate no mater if we are in front or behind we WILL concede a try within 5 minutes of half time

this whole season i have no expectations of greatness. if the likes of brooks, moses, tedesco (although he has just been amazing so far), lodge, et al. develop as players, really gel and they string a few good wins at the end of the year i will be well satisfied it had been a positive year.

what i am wary of is the beginning of last season: it had been absolutely years since the tigers had a pack capable of dominating and the way they were playing at the time i thought they could do anything.

i think they will go okay early, slump a bit and then come good at the end of the season. a new coach usually has a very refreshing effect on a team and the litmus test will be consistency over the course of (next) season.

id be satisfied with a finish just in or around the 8 for this season if the signs are positive.

In our favour, a few teams that were looking top 8 probabilities have started the season shaky. That said, it's a long season and one key injury could be the end of us.
